Went to a a North Western section of Atlanta burbs yesterday, a section I had not been in awhile...$1M homes, nice area. I noticed a salon, who has been there 10 years has closed. Was really shocked, but maybe not surprised. Always, IMO, a well managed competitor, with Euro-walls and KBL and Heartland beds with HP offered, it was able to outlast any competitor who set-up shop in the area over the years. Truly, the last-man standing.
Then I noticed across the highway a new shopping center with a PF. Out of curiosity, I called to see if they offered tanning. And yes they do for $10 and $20 a month unlimited. I asked what brand beds, but the 'rep' did not know. He did say, they were VHR beds, that he knew. I suspect Ergo or KBL, since other area PF's offer them.
The difference in price was based on membership privileges, not bed, since I believe, based on the other local PF's they offer only mid-level 160-180 powered beds, which really is all you need, IMO.
